Research Help

Starting Sunday, March 22, librarians will provide reference service virtually via chat, email, and text.

 

Hours include:

  • Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 4:30 pm EST
  • Sunday-Thursday, 6:00 - 9:00 pm EST

Outside our regular hours, please email ask@gettysburg.edu. We will respond to your question as quickly as possible.

 

Research Appointment Scheduling

Individual research appointments are available with librarians via ZoomSchedule using our online request form.

 

Please schedule 48 hours in advance (not including weekends). Availability is between 9 am and 5 pm EST.

Library Instruction

Faculty, with the switch to online instruction for the remaining semester, librarians are able to continue supporting your classes. Options for instruction include:

  • Asynchronous: Online tutorials that can be linked in Moodle
  • Synchronous: Class sessions taught via Zoom
  • Assignment Design: Adjust class assignments to draw upon our ebook, electronic resources, and digital collections

Special Collections & College Archives Research Support

Special Collections & College Archives will respond to questions through the Ask An Archivist form.

Staff will be responding to queries Monday- Friday, from 1 pm-4:30 pm.
