The Department of Computer Science recommends using the citation styles of the Association of Computing Machinery or the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

BibTeX - Formatting Bibliographies

BibTeX utilizes a plain text file format which can be created and modified using an arbitrary text-editor by the user.  It is used to describe and process lists of references, mostly in conjunction with LaTeX documents.

LaTeX - Document Preparation System for Typesetting

LaTeX is a high-quality typesetting system; it includes features designed for the production of technical and scientific documentation.

Research Appointments

Individual research appointments with a librarians are available via Zoom. Scheduling requests can be submitted via online request form. Please schedule 48  hours in advance (not including weekends). Availability is between 9 am and 5 pm EDT.
