Global Study: Language

Language Learning Resources

Are you studying abroad in a country where you are not a native speaker of the primary language? Would you like to learn some of the basics or brush up on what you've already learned before you go? Check out some of the Gettysburg College language learning resources before your program begins!

Language Resource Center (LRC)

The LRC is located on the ground floor of Breidenbaugh Hall in Room 107, and they provide a variety of language learning resources that may be helpful for you as you prepare to study abroad or even after you return home.

Some of these resources include electronic equipment, a library of books (including textbooks), software, listening comprehension CDs, music, films, and games to help you study and practice another language. A more comprehensive list of resources is available at their website here. They also have a list of Recommended Links for specific languages available at this link.
