Alumni Access to Musselman Library Resources

Even though your off-campus access to Musselman Library's databases and online collections ends at graduation, there are still many ways alumni can engage with library materials.

While on campus, alumni are welcome to use many of the college library's electronic and print resources (note: alumni only have access to digital materials while they are on campus).  View newspapers, books, and journals in a variety of formats.  Perhaps you will also be around for one of the special events or exhibits?   See what's happening in Special Collections before you visit!  The library also highlights alumni authors with a browsable book display on the Main Level--a selection of 10 years of scholarship and creative works by college alumni.

Visiting alumni may use library computers when available after obtaining a USB key at the Check Out and Reserves Desk.  This allows access to databases when on site at the library.

Alumni may also borrow books and CDs.  Search our online catalog, MUSCAT Plus, for titles.  The borrowing rules are:

Loan Periods

Books 28 days
Music CDs and Records 7 days

Use your white borrowing card to check out materials, or sign up for one at the Check Out and Reserves Desk if you haven't already. You can borrow up to 50 items at a time.  For the media collection, borrowers are limited to 10 CD titles at a time.  Interlibrary loan service or reserves checkout is limited to current students and employees of the College.  Become a Friend of Musselman Library to gain video/DVD borrowing privileges.

View additional details about the library's circulation services before your next visit.  Also check on library hours before you arrive.

From Here to There, from There to Here - Alumni are always welcome at Musselman Library!
