The citation style in LAS courses may vary by professor. If you have any questions as to what style you should be using please consult with your instructor. Musselman Library supports all citation styles through our Citation Guide. If you need additional assistance please contact me or stop by the reference desk on the main floor of the library for more assistance.

RefWorks

undefinedFor hardcore organizers, or those who need to be, this bibliographic management database is a dream.  You can use it to organize your citations, keep notes about them, and generate perfectly formatted lists of references for your papers.  It even interacts with Microsoft Word to help you format in-text citations.

Access
  • Connect to RefWorks through the Citation Guide, or just go to https://refworks.proquest.com/ 
  • Login with your RefWorks credentials OR 
  • Click "Create account" to set up your personal account (Make sure to use your Gettysburg College email address--you cannot sign up with @yahoo.com, @gmail.com, etc.). 
Special Note About Pop-ups

RefWorks uses pop-up windows.  If your pop-ups are blocked (by your browser or by the Google toolbar, for example), you may need to temporarily unblock them in order to use this tool well.
