Interlibrary loan (ILL) is a service that allows faculty, staff, and current students to borrow materials from other libraries if those materials are not available at Gettysburg College. Books, book chapters, journal articles, musical scores, DVDs, and microfilm reels can all be borrowed through interlibrary loan. Musselman Library borrows items from other libraries for our current students, staff, and faculty. We also loan items from our collection to other libraries. Interlibrary loan is run by the User Services department. We have several full-time staff members who oversee ILL, as well as student employees.
ILLiad is an automated, online system that our patrons use to request, view, renew, and track items through ILL. Faculty, staff, and students can access their ILLiad accounts from the Interlibrary Loan page.
When you use ILLiad for the first time, you will be asked to register by entering your information.
All questions about ILL or ILLiad can be directed to illform@gettysburg.edu the Check-Out Desk at (x7024).
