Yes, we are all OER Advocates!
Outcomes - participants will:
- understand the current textbook landscape at Gettysburg College and the Scholarly Communications department’s spring 2020 goals in order to successfully communicate about relevant issues in your role as a liaison
- identify key courses and faculty for whom OER could be a good match
- know where to search for OER on specific topics
- identify a (strategic) approach for connecting with faculty in liaison departments
- feel empowered to advocate for OER in your liaison areas with the ultimate goal of supporting student success
