When choosing which database to use, keep in mind the multidisciplinary nature of your topic, and select databases accordingly. You may want to visit other discipline specific research guides for database recommendations... or talk with a librarian!

Citing Sources

cite it! written on lined 3 by 5 notecardFor this class you can use whatever citation style you are comfortable with - just make sure you are using it consistently and correctly.

Musselman Library has a great Citation Guide with links to online guides for the citation styles commonly used at Gettysburg College. There is also information on how to create an account with Zotero, a freely available citation management tool.

If you're not sure how to cite something properly, just stop by the Research Help Desk on the main floor, ask via online chat, or send an email to ask@gettysburg.edu. It can get confusing; we're happy to help!
