Reading Programs, Resources, and Communities: You've Gotta Read This! Library Reading Group

You've Gotta Read This! First-Year Student Book Discussions

Reading for fun shouldn’t stop just because you’re in college. Created for first-year students in the fall of 2013, this program was launched by the library as a way to provide intellectually engaging opportunities for students to gather on campus. By reading and discussing a great book together, we hope to help build community among students and do our part in supporting the campus initiative of improving the intellectual climate on campus. Selected from books suggested by faculty and staff in Musselman Library’s annual summer reading guide, You’ve Gotta Read This!the discussions are a fun, easy way to take a break from class reading and enjoy a new book with others.
